Java application blocked.

I've spent hours surfing the web, reading guides and watching youtube videos to no avail.

Java blocks the goproblems java application from running, even though I've set the security to the lowest possible setting (high), and added an exception for goproblems.com. I'm fairly sure this problem started after updating to the latest java version. Needless to say, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling java, though I haven't tried deleting registry values manually or by using a registry cleaner.

I'm running the latest available java version (version 8 update 31, build 1.8.0_31-b13) on the latest Firefox version (35.0.1) on my Windows 7 (fully updated) laptop.

I would very much appreciate a solution to this, as the javascript version is extremely slow for me.

Bold parts are bolded in hopes of not having to deal with suggestions that wastes both my time and yours.

I had the same issue on winXP when i updated to java 8. For me adding the site to the exception list in the java security panel solved the issue, and i didn't change security level.

I have entered the entry like below (you have to type the http stuff and all, else it is not working), then you have to confirm because a popup saying http isn't safe blah blah..., just click ok :
http://www.goproblems.com

Once you did that you have to restaure security invites and you should then have the java authorization popup next time you launch a problem on the site.
I don't remember having done anything more when i hit the problem, though it may be different on win7.

I use Windows 7 and can confirm you need to add goproblems.com to the Exception Site List in the Security tab of the Java Control Panel.

When I click on the Windows (start) logo whateveritis I get a list of recently opened progarms; one of which is Configure Java, which starts the Java Control Panel.
