Searching pattern "on a side"

sorry for bugging you again
I found that "pattern search" does not work if you check "side" button. It simply finds nothing.
This creates a load of clones. For instance, I know that problem 12761 already exists, but cannot find it.

It seems the pattern search still have some issues.
The problem 13036 recently posted is a duplicate of 438 and is very similar to 8483. When I tried 3 slightly different versions of pattern search, I found only one time the problem 8483 and never the problem 438.
Problem 438 is in my favorites, so it was easy to find it...
