i'd like to understand what's the differance between the two... i used to think that fun was for unreal positions (not just unreal but the type u wouldn't encounter in a game) and strage for non go problems... but one color go under strange... and legitimate probs under fun... could anybody explain what's the diff then?

hi there ;p

in fact, i would say that non go is strange ie situations that do not follow the rules of go or go variants. in that regard, there's that exercise in which you put black stones all around the first line and white tries to be alive : it's strange go.

Then you get the one color go, which is fun, or the solve go problems, which is funn too. to me, go variants that follow the rules of go are fun. ie playing on a 4x4 board etc.

does it makes things clearer for u ?
