Go-Literature for Beginners

Post by Amaya »

Hi.

I'm new and still have big difficulties of understanding this game. So I'd really appreciate if someone could point me to some useful literature (if possible in german, but that's not required, if it's written comprehensable, though). My problems are: how to begin a game (yeah, I know, joseki is my friend, but still...) and how to determinate if a group is really dead (I have no clue, when to end a game due to my sillyness).

So considering my two mainproblems: how to begin and when is the time to end the game, what literature would you recommend me?

What do you think of this?
