            <description>The problem stops after G18...!
I would expect a continuation like this. Black forces G17 before protecting J18. White may be able to capture G17 in a ladder, but then at least Black can use a ladder breaker as a free move somewhere.
This result is clearly inferior to the solution.
Should Black play J18 straight away then White will protect the cut at G16 and Black wouldn't have the aji of a ladder breaker at all.</description>

            <description>White J19 was bad, it allows Black to take the initiative in the center like this.
White has to fall back since H16 threatens to capture H17 and the J14 stones at the same time.</description>

            <description>Black will play on the head of White (E17). The White stone at J18 cannot escape; if White cuts at E18 then Black will play K18 to protect the stones on the left. White cannot capture E17 and the White stones in the center are threatened, especially if Black also gets the chance to play J13. Compared to the solution, White is in very bad shape.</description>
